Thanks to Shaun Peter for adding this peak.
Thor is a combination of rock and ice, combined to make an intermediate climb within a solitary atmosphere. It may be done in a long overnight haul, but would be an ideal 3 day hike. There is limited water source until the final assent where melting glacier water can be filtered. Their are no trails and a topagraphic map as well as a GPS are highly recomended. Access is through logging roads taking off near the Arrow Lake Ferry just outside of Revelstoke. This peak requires a short icefield crossing and somewhat technical rock climbing. It is a goragous setting and remains my favorite assent
