On July 30, 2005 I drove from Budapest to the trailhead (about 1100m) 8 km north of the village of Tale. At the beginning the trail goes in a valley (3 km), then it climbs to a ridge where Stefanikova hut lies (1740m). Here you turn north and the trail leads below the summit to the pass Krupova hola (1927 m). Here you turn east and a trail climbs up to Dumbier (1 km). Beautiful view from the summit in every direction. You can see the High Tatras as well. The south side is gentle, but the north one is very steep. I walked 1 km more to the east on unmarked path to Stiavinca 2025 m (the second highest peak of the range) which is not frequently visited and then went west on the ridge trail until Chopok (2024 m) 4 km away. From here I descended to Kosodrevina and then to the parking lot.
