Highest hill above the Munster valley and second highest in Vosges. Its a rounded peak and its upper slopes and cone are treeless. Parts of the north face are steep and thus may have traces of snow until the end of June. From the summit the Black Forest in Germany can be seen, and on very clear moments the Swiss and French Alps.
