    The valley (at the trail head) is hot, but the ridge is cold and very windy. Bring warm clothing. There are at least 7 false summits and all are 13,000+! You will climb 500' then loose 400' over and...

    A great hike and could see for miles. Walked into herds of elk and big horn sheep. MT. Blanca and MT.Lindsey also in area.
