Cascade Mountain Trip Report (#15336)

Cascade is a mountain of varying degrees of satisfaction that I'm sure people will disagree on. The scramble starts off with a 7 km hike threw the trees up into Cascade Amphitheatre then up onto a ridge that sweeps up to the summit. A couple of false summits are encountered along route along with heaps of large talus. The summit does offer amazing views. We took our bivy sacs up with us and spent a windy night about 50m below the summit. Banff was awesome with its glow. The sun woke us nice and early and we were back in town in time for my noon shift.
