Along with Pyramid, the Bells were just screaming to be climbed since I first moved to Aspen. Finally set a weekend to do it. Albeit, a few years later. Camped at Crater Lake and got a nice early start the next morning. The Bells looked majestic in the sun light, and even prettier because I was about to be "there" on top of them. Like Pyramid, the shale rock was loose, but ok if you know where to step and grab. Not a terribly hard climb. It was nice to see Pyramid from a different angle. Planned on doing the traverse to North Maroon, but headed back down due to on-coming weather. No worries, she'll still be there, screaming loud as ever.
