Excellent peak. I lived at the base of Aspen Highlands, so I had a perfect view of Pyramid out my bedroom window, beckoning to be climbed.
Not a particularly hard climb, but challenging. The loose shale, and the danger of rock fall will definetely keep you on your toes the entire climb.
Beautiful view of the Bells at the summit.
My advice: Don't pull on any rock. It's ok to get some leverage, just don't put too much weight on anything on this entire mountain.
Pyramid can be deceptive.
Otherwise it's a sweet hike up.
