Mt. Apo, the highest mountain in the Philippines at around 3148 meters above sea level.
Declared a National Park as of May 9. 1936 by president Manuel L. Quezon it boast a 72,796 hectares of mossy tropical forest, waterfalls,lakes, plants and animals, sulfur vents. And it is one of the last places in the Philippines which is home to the endangered Philippine eagle.
