Nathiagali, clad in Pine, Walnut and Oak Maple trees, is the most picturesque hill station in the Galliat region. It can be approached from Abbottabad and Murree via a newly widened all weather road. Distance form both sides is 34 KM. Nathiagali is 2501 meters above sea level and is surrounded by lush green, lofty mountains. It commands fine views of the snow-covered mountains of Kashmir, Kaghan and Kohistan on one side and the plains of Rawalpindi on the other. In the foreground, to the north-east, rise the green slopes of Miranjani Top (9763 ft) and Mukshpuri Top (9243 ft) in the southeast. These two mountains are the highest in the Galliat range
